The part most people want to know
The photos and signatures you choose in a SizePrep tool are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to SizePrep or to a third-party image-processing service.
Photos, signatures, and results
Your browser reads the file you choose and creates a preview and, when you resize it, a new output file. The image size checker also reads file details locally, including metadata that may contain a location.
SizePrep doesn’t create a server-side file history or store your images in an account. Leaving or refreshing the page clears the tool’s current work; it doesn’t delete your original file or anything you have already downloaded. Your browser and device manage those files.
What your browser remembers
The website saves your light or dark mode choice in your browser’s local storage. This is a small setting on your device, separate from your image. You can change it in the header or remove it by clearing SizePrep’s site data in your browser.
We also save your analytics choice in local storage for up to 180 days, whether you allow or decline it. After that, we ask again. If your browser blocks this storage, your choice lasts for the current page only. You don’t need an account to use the tools.
Optional Google Analytics
On sizeprep.com, Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people visit and where the website could work better. We load it only after you choose “Allow analytics”.
If you allow it, Google can receive page visits, basic session and engagement information, referring website domains, browser and device information, and approximate location. Our page-view events use the page address without its query string or fragment. We do not send your photos, signatures, image metadata, file contents, or filenames to Google. Our integration disables Google signals and advertising personalization. Automatic form, search, scroll, and download measurement is not part of this setup.
You can decline analytics and still use every tool. Open “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Declining stops future measurement and removes the Analytics cookies this integration sets in your browser; it does not erase data already received by Google. Local development and preview websites are excluded from tracking.
When allowed, Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_HV31LD9JN6 to distinguish visits and sessions. We configure those cookies to expire after 180 days, without renewing their expiry on each visit. Your browser may remove them sooner.
Our Analytics property is set to retain user-level and event-level data for two months, with “Reset user data on new activity” turned off. This setting does not limit how long Google keeps standard aggregated reports. See Google’s data retention explanation.

Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to see how SizePrep appears in Google Search and to find indexing problems. Its reports show search terms, impressions, clicks, and average search positions, with breakdowns such as country and device type.
These are reports about activity in Google Search. Search Console does not need an Analytics tracking script on SizePrep and does not receive the images you select in our tools. You can read more about Search Console’s performance reports in Google’s help centre.
Links to your settings
“Copy a link to these rules” puts settings such as dimensions, formats, and KB limits into a URL. It does not include the image, its contents, or the original filename.
Anyone with that link can see the settings. Like other page addresses, the URL may also appear in browser history and website request logs.
Normal website traffic
Keeping image processing on your device doesn’t make a website visit anonymous. Your browser still requests the pages, fonts, and software needed to run the tools.
SizePrep is configured to use Cloudflare for hosting and delivery. Cloudflare may process connection information, including IP addresses, traffic-routing data, and system information, to provide its services. Its Privacy Policy explains how it handles that information.
This connection information is separate from the images selected in the tools. Hosting records are subject to the provider’s retention practices; we don’t set a separate image-retention period because we don’t receive those images.
If you contact us
Sending an email is different from using a file tool. Your email provider sends your address, message, and any attachments to the support inbox. We use that information to understand and respond to your request.
Please start with a description of the problem. Don’t send identity documents, application passwords, personal photographs, or signatures. A screenshot with personal details removed is usually enough.
Support correspondence may remain in the email system after a reply. You can contact us to ask about a message you sent or request its deletion. Any legal obligations that require a record to be kept still apply.
Your choices and questions
You can stop processing a file by leaving the page, clear saved preferences through your browser, and choose what to include in a support message. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy practices.
